Corporatism in the Last Frontier

As everyone knows we've been awash in corporate abuse in regards to AEL&P in what is a clear example of negligence. In many parts of our nation the power supply is public utility not a private enterprise. It's time for Alaskans and the people of Juneau to take a step back and realize this is not just so in Juneau but across our nation.

In politics corporate lobbyists have immense influence in both parties both the Democrats and Republicans. For the first time in who knows how long the Democrats have out raised the Republicans in terms of corporate donors, Obama himself is in the hands of the nuclear power giant Exelon. We must look under the surface of his thin skin of populism and realize he is another corporate Democrat in the garb of populism.

With corporate abuse running rampant in Juneau we must look to a figure who long has held the rights of the consumer over that of the corporation. Ralph Nader has long stood up for consumer rights and the environment. AEL&P would not be able to act as they will with very little over sight if we did not have politicians in the hands of corporate boards and executives. In light of the AEL&P scandal we must throw our support behind someone who will fight for our rights and not let private interests run our necessities.
